I thought Yunlong was your friend! That's not very nice.

-Yang Shan Hui Ji, a Chan master-

From a Monty Python Sketch

Whistler: Your Highness, you are also like a stream of bat's ****.
Prince of Wales: What?
Whistler: It was one of Wilde's. One of Wilde's.
Oscar Wilde: It sodding was not! It was Shaw!
George Bernard Shaw: I ... I merely meant, Your Majesty, that
you shine out like a shaft of gold when all around is dark.

It sounded like a mundane small talk.

To see how low you wanna go.

I'm not going down with you, if that's what you're waiting to

see.

Glad to hear it; a foul mouth, reflects a dirty mind,
doesn't not make you a better skier but a pathetic human
being.

Given that this is Usenet, home of foul mouths and pathetic
human beings, I am wondering why you are posting here,

Panning gold among some useless pebbles?

when you could be hanging out with much more higher forms of
humans on the Nevada Side of South Lake Tahoe, or in that
temple of higher learning, Carson City.

You mean those flashing [neon] lights, endless noise making [slot]
machines, and mindless small talks of money/casino cultured so-called
"high society"? Spare me. I'm confused what you mean by "higher forms
of humans."

If you can name an airliner that's never going to crash, I'd love to

Well, since Airbus fixed their early airplane fly-by-wire software
problems (at least the obvious ones) their early designs don't crash
nearly as often.

So: Who wants to be the test subjects for this latest incarnation of an
Airbus massive fly-by-wire software project? I say give them a few years
to fix the easy bugs using the French as test subjects, then the rest of
us can take the risk.

I'd much rather make my 14 hour flights in planes that haven't crashed

much
in the past, as opposed to ones that're going to crash like hell in the
future, and kill 800 people per time.

How many times did Concordes crash?

You are referring to this demonstration?

The audio is especially good.

That Howard Hughes plane, the Spruce Goose, is never going to crash.
Course, it'll never fly either, but you didn't specify that.

What do I win?

, Scott Abraham floated this notion:

No evidence after six years.

Where's my evidence that I'm part of a conspiracy?

Nothing, unless you add "again" to your statement. Curiously enough, my
parents and I were down at the beach when it happened. I was too little to
remember, which is sad.

BTW, I wonder how many of us are at the MIT Time Traveler Convention.
