It will be great to have RSAM running again so we can discuss skiing
instead of Scott's latest

You're always free to

a) post about skiing
b) post about anything you can manage to be civil about
c) NOT [post about Scott]

It's so simple - que problemo?

The problem is that no matter what you say/post, Scott takes issue and
starts another harrangue.

Speaking of the fat loser, where's be been? Haven't seen a post from him
in days. Did they take away his computer privileges at the penitentiary?

I donno about the virgin part. That might just be the hard part. Me
thinks
finding priests will be pretty easy.

On a side note,
I see on A-Basin's web site, they are shooting for an early to mid
October open date.

Loveland is guessing they will be open by Oct 14. Their web site
even has a count down clock. T-51 days, and counting.

for the people like me who want to torment themselves.

If we have an October as mild as this month, those dates might
just be spot on. In a normal year, I am pretty ****y about now
about summer. I am a winter guy (colder, longer nights).
But no matter what, we are at just about the two month mark
to first turns of the 04/05 ski season. Have season passes,
need snow.

Yes, but tell me again why other people have to follow his lead? Is it
because they admire him so much, or simply because their minds think
alike?

(NB this post is about them not him.)

I admire Scott's determination. [in fact]

or simply because their minds think alike?

Whose minds? please explain.

He will not have this group!

Part of me worries that when he is not posting here, he is out on some trip
from Palm Springs to Coronado.

Personally, I have been asked to come back for a job interview at a place I
worked a few years back, that has changed names three times due to corporate
mergers and splits, but still makes the same things they did when I worked
there, and has recently won a big contract, so they need some experienced
hands real soon now. Obski: I have to make a choice for the skiing season:
time and little money, or money and little time.

You notice he's stopped filibustering about rsam?
That's because it looks to me like Klaus sparked it up again.
There was a test post from Bruno that I followed up to, and I got
responses for both posts from a 'bot. [with a sense of humour]

Credit where credit is due. That was Bruno and Brian's effort. And
much thanks to them. I would expect things will be running before you
get into your boards.

I dropped a post into RSAM, but havn't seen anything. I use a
munged e-mail addy, so I will not see a reply from the bots.
I also won't use a real e-mail addy, as it is a great way to
hoze an e-mailbox. The junk one I use here receives all kinds
of crap (well, when I let it pick up mail).

Is the original white list for RSAM intact? If so, I should
be auto approved, if not, I guess I will have to earn my back
onto the list.

ObSki: Check out the Colorado web cams this Saturday. The Denver
weather guessers are calling for snow above the 10,000' mark.
How I love my beloved Loveland all dressed in white.

Maybe he is banned on news.west.cox.net also.

You should set up an account at news.individual.net just for such
occasions. I use mine, but have my ISP's server set up just in case.
God forbid we should miss something.

When the news server was balking, I checked the staus of the Universe by
looking at google groups and SA's stuff was there. But he hasn't come
through my account yet.

Maybe my ISP's spam filter got him.

A group of them (messages) flew off when I logged on the other day but other
than that they've all been showing up. That tells me that he posted a couple
of days ago but has been retrained somehow for the better part of the last
couple of weeks. Maybe he lost some computer privileges for bad behavior?
