I am retired, play a minimum of 18 holes per day, everyday, on
average. The 27 and 36 hole days easily make up for a missed round
here and there. I spend about an hour or two per day on the internet.
Mostly looking at the news, communicating with family that lives in
Europe, buying stuff, playing games, you know, the normal stuff. I
play with my dogs.

Once and a while I see the direction that things are taking with
trunky and react to them. I was one of the original targets though I
ignored him entirely for the first year. I finally broke down and and
began to poke him myself. When you find someone like this; So
dedicated to making himself look rediculous; What the hell else can
one do? And I don't even know how much I am missing. I just go from my
history, it appears to be ALL the same ****. Then read what other
people are doing and join in. 15 minutes per day? That is close to 16
hours? In who's world?

He does seem to have hung on this time. He usually disappears for a
couple of months after taking just a fraction of the embarrasment he
has in this round. Maybe he's in some advanced stages? And the end is
near? One can only hope.

Dave, I really don't see any point in reasoning with someone with
possible extensive brain damage or a lesion on his orbitofrontal cortex.
I think the best one can wish for is that he gets helps to prevent
further damage..

organic though. It's possible, but there a lot of people out there with
his problems that do not have organic brain disease... and a lot who do.

somewhere in there is that person who desperately wants to be liked and

ascertain medical conditions to begin with, and Usenet is not a
diagnostic tool.

From what I read of his rantings and seen of him in person. He has
some serious behavioral problems. His decision making and his
disinhibited behavior kind of points to some extensive brain damage.

I saw Scooter two years ago walking around Greenlake, a three mile
path and park, north of downtown Seattle, that locals used for numerous
things. (I used to work out at the pool in the early AM for years) The
perception that he wants all his enemies, both real and imaginary that
we should be all scared of size and omnipotent power was quite opposite
of reality. He is fat, he showed obvious signs of diabetic neuropathy.
he had this quixotic walking gait, from either some muscle contractions,
or nerve damage. He is obviously not controlling his Type II diabetes

Instead of feeling fear of this loser, I felt pretty sorry for this
pathetic being.

The reason I mentioned this sighting, is that if he is showing signs of
diabetic neuropathy, his behavior could be tied to vascular problems in
throughout his body, including his brain.

I wish Scooter the best, and hope he gets the help he needs.
However, I don't see him doing it voluntarily. He probably will get
something that is court order, or part of his sentence to prison. I
really don't see him changing, or turning a new leaf. I think that is
important that he gets help before he hurts someone or hurt himself.

If he has some pretty extensive brain damage, I don't think he can
perceive how self destructive his behavior is to his well being, or how
unhealthy it is to post 12 hours a day, day in and day out full of anger
and violence.

Oblique to this conversation, have you read "Shutter Island?" I think
it does a good job of describing persistent delusions from a 1st person
perspective. The movie is fine, but lacks subtlety and detail.
