in north america, there are really only two options.... timberline at
hood in oregon and blackcomb at whistler in bc.
if snow conditions are good mt hood stays open all year minus a 2 week
september maintenance window and blackcomb usually closes in early
august.

Even in a bad year Timberline generally stays open till Labor day.
Between ~Sept 15 and whenever is starts to dump, they are open weekends
in a good year and not at all in a mediocre year.
