Default FIS Marathon Cup

Stanslav Rezac won Birkibeinnerennet and with it captured the FIS Marathon
Cup title after chasing that goal for many years. Even if he didn't win the
Birkebeinner Rennet he'd had captured the Marathon Cup title.

Interesting that his goal this year was to win Vasaloppet and not to fight
for the over all points title. He didn't do well at the Vasaloppet and no
one fighting for the Marathon Cup was as consistent as a classic skier as
he was.

Rosendale, NY where we still have plenty of snow on the ski trails.
