Default Is June Mt. Dead?

On Tue, 6 Aug 2013 15:17:15 -0700 (PDT), Richard Henry
wrote this crap:

The reason the Town of Mammoth Lakes got into trouble
over the airport development deal is that they believed that
the FAA would approve expanding the airport for bigger jets.
However, if you follow the documents associated with the
attempt, you can see that there is no easy way to upgrade,
from the fact that the runway is too close to the terminal and
hangar buildings to the fact that even at its present length a plane
taking off from one end of the runway cannot see clear to the other
end because the runway arcs over a slight hill. Fixing all those
problems would require regrading a couple of square miles and
rebuilding all the airport structures (not likely to pencil out), and
without the bigger jest flying in from Texas and Chicago none
of the upgrades made any sense.

I can land a 737 there. I've done it on a simulator. And I was
drinking. And I'm not a pilot and I will never be one.

There's no need to fear if Trunky is near.
