Default Hey out west, can we have some of your winter???

As I was pruning my shrubs today here in NJ, I noticed that my daffodils
are growing!
It's way too hot for November!

Give it a day or two. Winter's working it's way across the continent.
Here in Michigan, it was in the 70's on Sunday and in the teens last
night. You should be in for the good weather soon.

Tell me abou it... and the rain. Rain rain rain. Lawn mowing should have
stopped by now & so far, only one morning of frost.

I've still got a few cherry tomatoes on the pitifully scrawny plants,
the narcissis are blooming, and I appled the magic stuff that's supposed
to stop the weed seeds from germinating just about a week too late.
****, maybe next year...

And there still isn't enough snow in the mountains for (ob)skiing.

Yes, just as soon as we recover from our 5-year drought...

Yeah, it's been way too hot here, too. I guess you are getting that rain
that started last night? We scored a dusting out of that, but today it's
been rain, and heavy rain an hour or so ago. Hopefully it'll turn colder and
go to snow, but it's a bit depressing. Oddly enough, our man=made snow
actually improved with the rain and the skiing was good. sigh, the East!
Luckily the shopping, scenery, people and food make up for it.
