Discount tix for Summit County?
Sven Golly wrote:
Anyone know of any deals out there? I will be skiing Breck, A-Basin, Copper, etc. during early February. Well, ... Apparently there are (were) coupons available for some of these places. When I was last at A-Basin (couple of years back) the ticket person asked me if I had a coupon; I said no and asked her if she had any to spare; she rummaged around to find the best coupon price in her stash of extra coupons and offered it to me; whereupon I offered it right back to her for a pretty good discount price. Must be my angelic good looks or something. |

As stated at http://www.summitcove.com/discounts/index.php, All Colorado ski resorts make it difficult for anyone coming from out of state to get a great deal on lift tickets. Don't expect to get a great deal anywhere if you didn't start looking in late September or early October. So about the only way to get a deal is to see if you can work it as part of a package with lodging. Or maybe go to http://denver.craigslist.org/ and see if anybody wants to sell you a "4-pass" or part of it... Thanks for subsidising our cheap season passes BTW. Make sure to visit often. bruno. |

Oh well, here's his site on the topic: http://www.black-diamond.com/lift_ticket_pricing.phtml It's been a few years since I've been there, but the standard advice barring any coupon connections was to stop off at a King Sooper's supermarket in Denver on the drive in. |

Where's Chester? Good question. I thought he did some web site work for some ski ship in Frisco that sold discount tix. That said, there should be a place in Frisco. Sam "Check you local listings" Seiber |
