Default Moving bindings

I brought some 2nd hand skis and need to move the bindings I know about the
centre line on the skis and boots
but how do I know how far apart the front and back of binding need to be
apart as I have no instructions for the salomon bindings
sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

Place boot betwen front and rear.
Actual centerline matters a little, but not too much overall. You
can move it back and forwards upwards of 1.5" and most skiers don't
notice.
Less a science than just feel.

The separation between the front and rear of the bindings is dependent
upon the size of the boots that have to fit into the bindings. You
must have the boots to set the final spacing.
