Anybody skiing Blackcomb? (Or Snowbird? Or Mammoth?)
Mammoth is open, but when I skied it a couple of weeks ago it was only pleasant for a couple of hours.

Stallard probably doesn't know any better, but every other knowledgeable skier here does. How about that contct info? Sure would be pleasant to see if I can get you prosecuted for making false police reports....if you ever made a report in the first place. How humiliating for you. |

I hate that sticky stuff that grabs your skis, and makes your knees feel like they're going to explode internally. I've only encountered it in the Sierras, nowhere else. Dave |

Dave It's not as noticeable if you clean your skis when it's that wet ****. I think it's all that stuff that builds up in the snow layers over the winter and then as the snow melts is left on top. In the spring I don't wax, I clean. |

In the spring I don't wax, I clean. Somebody told me if you put some cooking spray on your skis the snow won't stick. I have heard about that for snow shovels and it works. Did anyone try it on their skis? Vote for Romney. Repeal the nightmares. |

I put Turtle wax on my skis, AFTER I ski. I put cooking spray on my shovel before shoveling snow. It keeps the snow from sticking to the shovel. I just wonder how it will work on skis. Vote for Romney. Repeal the nightmares. |
