I wonder what year it is. If the economy was not bad I would get this
"just because".

At a local race last week, one of the sponsors was giving away 45g
boxes of Jack Rabbit Johannsen ski wax for "all dry snow and clogging
snow." I've been assuming it is kick wax because it has a slightly
pasty feel and the package says to cork it in very cold conditions
and apply more if back slip is encountered.

I wonder what year it is.

I have a 1969-1970 ski catalog from Silva,Inc (Wictor Sports, Laport
Ind). The same box (Swix Combined) is shown on p3.

Also in the same catalog - the top-of-the-line racing skis
are Splitkein Gold (55 mm wide, birch) for $47.50.
Also the Lapp Forester ski for deep snow , 80 mm wide,
for $35.00

Yeah, I want it too.

But I've got a neuroses that cause me to accumulate too much stuff,
and I'm trying to fight it.
