Bummer for Miller. Maybe next year. Hope he can keep his GS lead and get
that globe:

Now Mr. Raich is in a very good position for the overall.

Way to go Sarah!

And what can I say about Anja Paerson - amazing season! Congratulations to
her.

I love this sport.

Well, yeah. That was it. Race canceled.

Nope. Maier gets it. You posted your spoiler too soon.

Way to go Sarah!

Finally.

And what can I say about Anja Paerson - amazing season! Congratulations to
her.

She's da best. Got enough heart for the speed events, too.

I love this sport.

Me too :-)

He raced out of the course in the first run sliding on his back, with his
feet&skis pointing straight up in the air. A not-too-graceful
exit..................

Now Mr. Raich is in a very good position for the overall.

Sorry, Benny Raich, but the GS final was cancelled, due to bad weather
conditions, with wind, snow and fog. And so, the GS overall World Cup trophy
went to Bode Miller in the end after all. Hermann Maier took the overall
World Cup ahead of his teammates Stephan Eberharter, the defending champion,
and Benjamin "Benny" Raich. In other words, an Austrian triple. Americans
Bode Miller and Daron Rahlves finished fourth and fifth overall. Well done,
especially from Rahlves.

And what can I say about Anja Paerson - amazing season! Congratulations

to
her.

Oh yes, Anja Pærson, the blonde 22-year-young Swede, with Sami ( = Lappish)
family background. She has now for obvious reasons become a great heroine
for all the Sami ( = Lappish) people, who lives scattered in four different
countries, mainly in Norway, but also in Sweden (like Anja Pærson), Finland,
and Russia.
