Default Canadian World Cups

What a great bunch of racing the Canadians have put on, eh. Must be
some of the most exciting racing in years. Fistfights at the sprints.
American skiers leading exhibition sprint heats. Three Americans earn
Red Group Bibs & Top 15 results (Wow !). Beckie Scott in Silver in
Pursuit by 0.03 seconds, driving Marit B deep into her unhappy place,
and then a Beckie Scott Gold Medal in the sprint final. Sara Renner in
Bronze.

The US team sure brought a lot of atheletes and that is great. Look for
Rebecca Dussault to shake the sinus infection and pop some good races.

As a distance athlete myself, I have looked at all the sprint training
the team guys have done, and observed how different it is from the
things I do. Now look at the payoff they are beginning to enjoy.

Depth:
We brought how many sprinters ? 1 Newell 2 Koos 3 Hochtl 4 Cook. Norway
brought nine men. Shows you the depth we are fighting against.

Soverign Lakes was great. Looking forward to what happens next @
Canmore.

Becky Scott is on a roll now. Next weekend she can compete without
Bj=F8rgen present.
As for "Depth" and number of contestants: USA had seven men in sprint
top 60 and six in pursuit. Max is six but some rules may give you more.
Germany did very well with top 5 in pursuit. With a max rule of six it
will be hard to beat the times norway took top eight and seven places
in a WC race. But I don't remember when..

Let me draw your attention to the Olympics. If all goes well, INDIA
will have racers in cross country for the first time!!!
