A good strategist does not show off force [needlessly].

Are you kidding? *How do you think we won the Cold War?

A good fighter does not fight in rage.

Tell that to Mike Tyson.

A good winner does not provoke confrontation.

A good winner? *What is that?

A good administrator takes care his subordinates.

That's a given.

This is known as the virtue of non-confrontation.
This is known as fully utilizing people's potential.
It is acting according to the divine principles,
the highest virtue of the ancient practice.

--Tao-Te-Ching, Ch. 68--

Sounds silly to me.

"The object of military action is the annihilation of the enemy's
army, the destruction of his cities, and the wastage of his
countryside."

Sun Tzu -- The Art of War.

A good warrior always quotes Sun Tzu. *And by his words, it seems that
George W. Bush is doing an excellant job in Iraq.

Except the currently nominated enemy has no army. *I guess we'll have
to settle for cities and countryside.

And what happened to his army? *What happened to the Republican Guard?
Mighty warriors cut them down. *Don't argue with a mighty Hungarian
warrior, you will lose. *You'll be lucky if you still have your head.
You'll even be lucky if he spits mead on your corpse, and says a small
prayer, "Game Over."

By "his" I assume you mena Sadam Hussein. He's dead. His Republican
Guard was sent home without pay. It was a good and mnob;e result
atained by a band of brave soldiers.

So whart army are we fighting now?
