From sea to sky!
 

Congratulations from Lillehammer, Norway, the Host City of the 1994 Olympic
Winter Games, and maybe also a bidder for the 2014/2018 Winter Olympics, to
Vancouver, BC, Canada, the Host City of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. In my
opinion, Vancouver is by far the best choice among the three final Candidate
Cities, and won a well-deserved victory. Again, congratulations, BC and
Canada. It was a wise choice and decision. We are all looking eagerly
forward to 2010 already. The Canadians will surely once again host some
great and spectacular games, with some very committed and highly
enthusiastic volunteers, like in the 1988 Games in Calgary, Alberta, and the
US 2002 Games in SLC, Utah. But first, let us enjoy the upcoming great 2006
Games in Torino (Turin), Italy.
