What's worse - to be unable to get who you want, or to get them and be
unable to make it work?

(better to have loved and lost....?)

Also - any tips on overcoming the whole "I wouldn't date any girl that
will have me" syndrome? How about the whole putting them on a
pedestal thing?

What do you mean unable to get the one you want? What's that?

Chick problems? There's always more where the last one came from.

What's worse? to get whom you want, make it work; and find out she
doesn't ski when snow season rolls around. Those summer romances are
dangerous - warm weather makes every sane person a little crazed ...

Always make your move during ski season, so you can test her off piste
before committment.

I sort of agree - but that begs the question "what if you get what you
want all the time, but you still don't find "the one"? Strength in
one area can lay bare the insecurities of another...

More of what though? Do I really need more of the same? Women of a
certain caliber are rare, and the subcategory of those that I don't
**** off is but a fraction of that. I'd like to say that I'm just
looking for one with a good personality, but the reality is that I
want it all - looks, intelligence, all four limbs, you name it. I've
found the CoolChix pool to be somewhat limited in Summit, so I guess
I'm looking for ways to alienate fewer of those that qualify.

Let her go? What if you don't even have her yet but you think you
could and you're not sure you want to suffer the pain that's most
likely to follow?

Who's that? If it's Horvath tell him I'm no longer accepting his
collect calls. If it's Pigo, tell him that I'm waaay into birth
control so he need not fret.

Well, I always found that when I went out *looking for it* is when I
found what I didn't really want. You'll find the best quality stuff when
it happens along when your just doing what you do.

Dunno. But the "unable to make it work" part sounds like a job for the
little blue pill. :-)
