Thank you for that insightful comment. I'm sure you have done much to
convert those who are still forming an opinion...

Labor?! LABOR!? Whoops. Automatic disqualification. Laborers don't even
ski. Clearly confused priorities. Obviously we must locate the skiers
surreptitiously embedded in Parlament by the great Ullr/Skadi Cabal, now
ready to rise up and throw off the yoke of demented politics and get on
with the business of building ski lifts; or, in the UK, building dry slopes.

Yep. There's no such thing as the Labor Party in the UK. Let's see,
we've got

Labour Party
Conservative Party (Torries)
Social Democrat Party
Silly Party
Very Silly Party
Stark-Monster-Raving-Loony Party

But, no Labor Party.
Sorry to be a party pooper.
(sorry for that pun. )
((sorry for that appology. ))

Whadaya mean? A laborer is anybody who works for a living. I work for
a living. I ski.

I think what you meant to say is Laborers don't ski at Vail.

No, it's Korzeniowski. Why do you ask?

You got a point there - round here Carharts outnumber Bogners (and ski
about as well...)

No, but the Labour Government isn't made up of labourers, it's
frightfully middle class and the only thing that keeps it from skiing is
its fear of loss of control.

You'll find them somewhere expensive, Davos/Klosters say.

Snowdomes, mate. They're still no fun, we want spectacular mountain
scenery, solid regional food and local beer. We're expanding the EC's
ski resources by taking in Turkey, the CR and Bulgaria.

Pat Buchanan.

Ahahhhhaaha!

Very funny piece.

It is well known that Al Gore is an avid waterskier. One of
his daughters competed competitively in college. Also,
during the last campaign, he rode the Delta Queen up through
Iowa, and watched a waterski show across the river in Praire
Du Chen, WI, put on by some folks I know.

The seat belts on chairlifts thing is great. Nader would
have a fit if he ever went to France. I don't know how many
lifts I got on that had nobody attending the thing at all.
Nader prolly just go nuts at that.

I will mind my own business if you mind your own. I don't care what America
does domestically, just internationally. Stop starting wars, stop
restricting trade, stop giving weapons to countries to they can blow up
other countries that America doesn't like, stop allowing American
corporations to take advantage of the poorest people in the world in pursuit
of profits, and stop placing puppet governments in place to suit your
own needs and maybe then I will stop complaining about America.

Gee.. that sounds really liberal and left wing. You know, before September
11 I had completely different opinions about all this stuff, I would say I
was even right wing. But after watching Bush, I can see my own right wing
tendancy's exagerated 100 times, and I don't like the outcome. Bush is teh
best thing that has happened to me and a lot of people I know in a
"political view" sense. He has shown us how ugly the republican mindset
(which is duplicated world wide) can be.

I didn't pick, for example, a particular paragraph and point out what was
wrong because I told you I'm not going to go into long winded discussions on
this newsgroup, if I can help myself.. copy the speech, put it in an email
to newsgroups_at_andrewhutchinson.net and I will gladly tell you why it is
crap..

And I like top posting. We've had this discussion before, and I still think
top posting is better.. so I'm going to continue to do it..
